We added a 7th critter to our Colebrook Critter Pack. It took us a few days, but we finally settled on Peanut for her name.

Peanut is a Long Haired Russian Toy Terrier. Her parents came to the USA from Russia two years ago. She is the second litter born here. She has a brother who is as adorable as she is. There are very few registered breeders in the USA. There is one in CT. We adopted Peanut from a private home in Westfield, MA.
At first sight people think she is a Papillon because of her ears, or a Chihuahua because of her size and head shape. Her body build is definitely not either. When standing on all fours she resembles a deer, with her long neck and legs. She's a stunning little dog with a wonderful personality. She runs with the pack here with no problem, and is friendly with the feline side of the family.
She weighs a little over 2 pounds and stands 6" tall. She has the speed of a bullet and can be out of sight in a split second which is not good as owls and hawks abound here and she is dessert to them. She can stop on a dime though and when she hears her name, she does just that. She's getting very good at "come" and "stay" commands for a 3 month old. Mommy and daddy are very proud of her, and love her to pieces.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll do a catch up on other projects over the next few days.
Enjoy the summer and stay safe!
