Stars of Mexico - Through My Eyes

Several quilters and myself saw this picture on line and fell in love with it. There are several that are similar to it, but we were unable to find instructions. I studied the photograph and came up with a pattern that resembles the original. Following are diagrams and pictures that I hope will sufficiently explain the construction.

I have not given detailed instructions of the entire quilt. What is shown is my interpretation of the two quilt blocks that make up the quilt. I think that you will be able to figure out the block positioning by looking at the photo.

I have made a yellow table topper that is pictured below. I am also in the process of making a tablecloth using this pattern. I chose to make both with a scrappy attitude. The tablecloth reminds me of a stained glass window. I love how it is developing. On that note, let's get started!

I hope you find this helpful. If you have questions or comments, please leave them below and I'll get back to you within 24 hours.

Thanks for checking the page out and have a sew perfect day!
